Meet Captain Mario

Mario has spent 25 years sailing these waters, and it shows the moment you step aboard Nana — the boat is spotless, the routes are second nature, and nothing rattles him. He's also a certified professional diver, so what's beneath the surface is just as familiar to him as what's above it.

Food and hospitality are a family effort. His wife cooks the 3-course lunches guests can't stop talking about — often with vegetables from their own garden — alongside homemade wine, beer, and cherry liqueur.

His son Roko grew up racing sailboats, going on to become a Croatian national champion in Optimist-class sailing. These days he runs the fishing tours himself.

Ask any guest and you'll hear the same thing: they were treated like family from the first minute, and left with more stories — and food — than they expected.
